Fuji music legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has been appointed as an ambassador for aviation security following a recent controversy at a Nigerian airport.
The appointment, announced by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Tuesday, comes weeks after the singer was involved in a heated exchange with security personnel during boarding procedures.
FAAN said the move was aimed at fostering mutual respect between aviation staff and VIP passengers, while also leveraging K1’s influence to promote adherence to airport security protocols.
The singer pledged to use his platform to advocate for compliance with aviation regulations and improved passenger-security relations.
